I’m Pete, the Funky Booth DJ.
Music’s been my thing for as long as I can remember. I’ve lived through the decades of tunes people still choose for their special moments.
I love all of it, and I love what it does to a room when it feels right and sounds great. People relax, start smiling, and the whole place just comes alive.
Seeing a crowd catch the same beat together is the best part. Feet tapping, heads nodding, then suddenly it’s hands in the air and everyone’s singing the same chorus (if not always in tune).
That’s the power of music. It’s our shared language, and when everyone feels it at the same time, it’s one of those moments people remember for years. That’s what I’m always aiming for.

You tell me the key details and any must plays or definite no’s. I’ll sort the music plan and timings, then you can forget about it and enjoy the build-up.

I’ll arrive in plenty of time, get everything set up, and make sure the sound and lights are doing what they should. I’ll check you’re happy with the levels, so we’re ready to go when you are. And if anything needs a quick tweak, I’ve got backups, and I’ll sort it fast, usually without anyone noticing.

You’ll be dealing with someone who’s well prepared and easy to work with. I’ll be clear on timings, tidy on setup, and on it from start to finish, so everything feels easy on the day. Your guest numbers don’t need to be perfect. I’m not turning up with a counter. I ask so I bring the right kit, and it sounds great across the room, so people can hear it, feel it, and get dancing.
